Okay on my last ram I set the 5100's at 2.1 and was happy on this new ram a 2013 I'm thinking of going with a 2.8. Now I'm reading the rear 5100's can be set to 1" or get a block spacer. My question at 2.8 do I need to do UCA's or will the ball joints need to be changed. Will the ride suffer. The current set up from the old owner is a 2" block spacer which I hate the ride is horrible on bumps and the steering wheel feels like the slightest turn and the truck will roll.

The rears aren't adjustable, you can use them with up to 1" lift. If you want a little bit of rake then 2.1 otherwise 2.8 with/with 1" spacer in the rear.

If you're going to be in there with the shock replacement, I'd go ahead and get some new UCA's... Not that much more to upgrade them. I went wth Mevotech personally and I'm glad I did. Peace of mind is always nice...
