Just installed the sub/amp last night into my 2014 Ram Express crewcab. It is a huge improvement over the base speaker setup. I also have the kicker 3.5's in the dash. It sounds great. This is the base system with the uconnect 5.0 headunit. I would definitely recommend both!

FedEX finally showed up last night while I was at school. Checked the boxes when I got home, everything looks complete and in good condition. I'll be installing this weekend.

I'm excited to do this. I have been looking for a simple upgrade without in lines and all that extra and getting the big storage spot. Thanks again for this find ill do the upgrade and 3.5's as by the sounds the 6x9's upfront don't really need it.

Anyone know anything about the rear speakers? Are the good enough in 12 with alpine

the more expensive one also comes with a speaker amp upgrade, no difference in sub

The sub, yes...you cant change the front amp.

We do install for companies we market together, but there is a great place in Edmond. We dont sale direct, we are the manufacture.

I'm really considering this. I have a 2014 express and the sound system is ****. I listen to rap music and I have to turn the bass to -9 cause it sounds so horrible. The sound is so distorted. I'm listening to music without bass. I've always had good systems. I'm a fan of 8" to 10" subs. I don't like crazy bass but I like quality. Kicker is a good product.

If I don't have the alpine system... do I have to buy an amp? I was looking at something on kickers site. The sub is affordable but the amp is insanely over priced.

Can anyone confirm this?

This is what I have: 2014 RAM 2500HD with the 9 speaker Alpine system and 8.4AN/RA4 head unit.

What will be plug and play on my truck?
