Howdy all. I just purchased a 2017 Ram Rebel 5.7 Hemi (silver/black) with about 80k miles on it (a high mileage Hemi is all I can afford at the moment). It was corporate owned and driven by a guy who listened to a lot of Christian stations from what I gather with all the presets programmed into the radio. It's really clean. I've been doing a little research here and there about upgrades, maintenance, and things and this place has a lot of great info so I joined up.

I plan on keeping it as stock as possible to avoid any upgrade headaches, but I did order a few new goodies that will be here and installed this week:

  • American Racing Baja (black) rims
  • Duratrac's (17's)
  • Pro Comp Black Lug Nuts
  • Access Vanish Tonneau

...and I'll be painting the front skid plate black.

Future upgrades will be:

  • Cold air intake
  • Pedal Commander, or similar tuner
  • Small front grill light bar
I'm new to a lot of this stuff but looking forward to learning and putting together a nice ride. Any insight and tips would be awesome.

Welcome to the forum man! 80k is far from high mileage! I’m still slightly jealous I didn’t get a rebel but at the end of the day I like my ass conditioning!

Thanks!

Here's how she looks with the new shoes:

I'm thinking of swapping the AR center caps with the RAM head ones on the original rims, but I'm not sure if they'll fit. I should have thought about it when I was changing em. lol

I'll look around and see if anyone's already gone down that road here.
