New member to the ram scene.

Just wanted to a second and introduce myself. I'm new to the truck scene but not new to dodge. I previously own a 2011 Dodge Charger RT which I very munched loved. But felt it was time for something new. So this weekend I picked up a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 RT with 4 miles on the odometer.

So far I love the truck and hope I can learn a lot from the current members in theirs forum. As far as mods considering I've only had it a few day, well I did my first mod blocks from the dealership....black ice air freshener [emoji23] yesterday morning I had the windows tinted. And this afternoon it was dropped of at my local stereo shop. Having 2 12" digital design SL SERIES subs installed in a custom box. All door and cab speakers replaced with hertz speakers and JL Audio 3.5" in the dash. A audison bit one sound processor and 2 JL Audio HD amps 900/5 for the highs and a 1200/1 for the subs. I'll be sure to post pictures once it's done.

Also as I've been going through the forum, I've decided to go with a Inez hot rod lowering kit. That will come in a month or so. Since I live in Texas (Houston to be exact) I've decided to take to Inez himself to install the kit. So I'll be posting pictures of that soon too, among a few other things I plan to do. But I'm the meantime. I'd love to you thoughts, comments or concerns I should know about with my truck. Thanks guys.

I was indecisive on wether I should lower it first or do the sound system. I chose the sound system mainly because my charger sat really low. And I had come to the point. Where I was tired of it. So sitting this high honestly is kinda nice. I went to lunch today that I've been wanting to try for so long but wouldn't dare try to drive my charger up there driveway [emoji23]. So I'm enjoy the high life....for now [emoji48]

Sure I'm using a company by the name of stereofx they are a shop in the north side of Houston. I trust them. They have done 2 of my chargers and a Ford Expedition for me. So I'm familiar with there work.

The only reason that I ask if I'm a member on Diyma which deals with SQ vehicles. Also the best part is there are several installers / shops that are on the forum also.

Welcome aboard sir...I agree, I had a lowered Lexus and an eclipse back in the day....as nice as they look, I can't say I miss having to slow down and go sideways over speed bumps lol

That's a beautiful car. But I have to agree this riding high thing is nice. To be fair at some point in the near future it will be lowered a bit. Originally I was thinking a 4/6 drop. But I think I might go with 3/5. Seen a few truck at 3/5 and I'm liking the stance. Here's a picture of a 3/5 drop
