Country roads were ok. Wind was blowing so hard it was moving me around some but still overall pleased.... As long as it helps the rear sag.

Thanks for the update, cableguy_hd. I'm guessing a little stiffer ride will be worth not having a sag on the rear end of your truck while hauling/towing. Were the new TufTruck springs thicker and heavier than the stock coils? My 1223-Vs were significantly thicker and heavier. Did you have an issue with reinstalling your Air Lift 1000's with the 1/2" difference? I'm guessing not.

I'm not sure I still needed my bags either, but I had mine re-installed inside the new coils anyways. I can tell a difference in ride quality when I inflate my bags to 35 psi unloaded. The ride feels "bouncier". Unloaded, I run my bags at 5 psi and my truck rides much smoother. Since I already had the bags and wireless compressor paid for, I figured a little overkill won't hurt. My truck's rear ride height does change a little when I inflate the bags from 5 psi to 35 psi. Not sure what the overall change is...I need to measure the difference this spring.

ok... here are the pics loaded. Again what I have here is a 2" Bilstein front level, air bags with 0 air in them. Had .5" of sag from front to rear. 1 pic seems to look like more but the tape measure doesn't lie... I hope. I just rode down the road to a big parking lot to take these. Ride was good, better than stock springs with 30 psi in bags I beleive.

looks like about 2" of sag between loaded and unloaded. I had 5 links hanging on wd hitch. I could tell a difference when I hooked the wd hitch up in the sag. It really help.

So if your front was stock height it would only sag roughly 1/2 an inch?

Stock height is around 36" in the front. If I had stayed stock in the front I would have not got these. Air bags would suffice

I am stock and do not want air bags but I do want to get rid of the sag when I tow. I have a 2014 Keystone Bullet 246RBS. Now that you have the springs installed do you think they will do a better job than the 1223V variable springs at reducing the sag in the rear?

Thank you for your thread on these. Looks like TufTruck is waiting on your comments and maybe others before they offer the springs for sale.

They got all the info they wanted from me, guess they'll list them soon. I cant speak of the V springs, I would've got those if they kept stock ride height if these didnt come about, but I would have asked about them in a thread. I guess the more weight added the stiffer they get. I think someone on this thread did get those, pm him and see how he likes them.Your tongue weight is 545, about a hundred pounds less than mine. these cost me 290$ shipped. I get a little back being a guinea pig though.

They are on the web site now, getting ready to order a set for my truck. I bought a 32' camper that weighs around 7600 pounds empty, not sure what the tongue weight will be after I have it loaded but I know I can't hook it up without the weight distribution hitch hooked up. I think the springs will help with the camper and the car trailer.
