Hello. I currently drive a 2015 Ram 1500 Express Crew Cab. It has the stock suspension. After market fuel rims with a +1 offset. The look on my truck is a clean fast look. I've been looking at tires and came across the Nitto 420. But I read for a truck tire they aren't that good. I like the style of them and would like to know if there is anything comparable out there. I tow maybe once in a while. No more then 7,000lbs. I also live in NJ so I need something good in the snow. Looking to get a 285 size under there. 2ca01029528fc0819f4380396022eacb.jpg

It depends on what you want/need out of the tire. Pay attention to the load range of whatever diameter tire you end up wanting. I've had them under my trucks for many years, I'm only now looking for something better performance-wise because I can't get them to hook with the new blower on it. I was very happy with them, good traction, awesome in standing water, I was happy with the tread life and I have my review of them up on the Nitto site.

I had them on my old Silverado and loved them. They did decent in the snow but obviously not as good as AT/MT. If my truck was lower, I would rock them again.

I've had several sets of nitto 420s tires on my old 2012 2500 cummins. Zero issues and last a good while for the price.

Running 420s. 305/50/20r in rear and 275/55/20 in front. Love these tires so far! Only been a few weeks so curious to see what kind of life I get out of them

Running 305/50/20's all around and love them. Have Bilstein set to 2.1 and level in rear; it's close but no rubbing.

If you like Nittos, also look at the 421q. Similar load range as the 420s but better wet and snow traction and better handling. Also better tread wear. About the same price. Some sizes can be noisy when wet.

i'm running 305/50/20's on my 2/4 lowered 4x4 and i'm happy with them. 15,000kms and they still look great, hoping to get around 60,000kms.

I run 305/45/22s and I like them at first. But after about 20K miles they love to flow the grooves in the road and ride stiffer now. I understand as the tread wears there's less rubber.

I will say they are a beast in the rain on the highway. Just cuts through the water.

Can't say I hate them but will be trying something else next.
