alright so after swapping in an nv3500 into my buddies ram 1500 i am thoroughly convinced automatic transmissions should have never been invented haha there is much more power released and even better gas mileage. So i went 3 hours west to pick up the transmission, bell housing, t-case, master ***** cylinders, pedal assembly and interior parts for $800, but i figured once i have the engine out, why not make it have some more power and make it run better.... Ive made this list of parts and was wondering what i should change and add? and will everything coincide with each other. Any help is really appreciated.

thank you! :) ive been saving and budgeting for months and now ive finally saved enough for it along with some other misc things that will be needed, im hoping to do it at the end of april maybe early may. the nv3500 swap only took me and my buddy 30 hours and that was with having to pull the parts off the other truck, so im hoping to have it done in a week or so. i just dont want to order all the parts and then have something be wrong or not work haha

Only other thing I can think of is that little ******* of a Bypass hose on the water pump.

Maybe an upgraded timing set?
and why not a cam? :-D

haha i would love to do a cam and heads but my budget for the overall project is $2500 and after all those parts plus drive shafts and misc parts, im probably going to go over budget, but at least im trying to buy all the parts while everything is still in the truck. but one of my main questions is will these parts all coincide with each other? Also can anyone give me a list of other small things im going to need. i know pilot bearing sleeve and there is a harness adapter im going to need from napa for my brakes lights and reverse lights to work. ive been trying to do a lot of research on an nv4500 swap and making sure everything will work but i havnt found a solid write up yet. im hoping to do one when i do my swap.

Please post how this turned out. That motor tranny set up is probably the most bad ass thing i have ever seen underneath the hood of a 2nd gen. I am super jealous of that motor
