I went with the 4 corner air suspension on my new truck, as did my dad. Today he pulled our tractor over to the farm he and my mom purchased. I figured I'd compare the air suspension to the Coils I had in my 2014.
My guess is that the tongue weight is in between 1000-1200 lbs. Total weight behind the truck is around 9900 lbs.
Here's my 2014. It had a 1" rake when not towing, and my airlift 1000 bags were at 35 psi (max)
Here's dad's new truck hooked up this morning. Sat the exact same as it does when it doesn't have a trailer hooked up!
I'm so impressed with the oem air suspension! He said the back end didn't feel spongy at all! It was pretty cool to watch the truck level the load too!
Here's a pic when he unloaded. How about that for rake? Lol
