OEM Tailgate camera for aftermarket radio

I'm replacing the aftermarket camera in my father in laws 2010 ram since it's failed again. We've replaced it several times over the years with more cheap cameras. The angle and picture quality of my factory camera on my 16 ram is far superior. Can I buy the OEM camera and use it for aftermarket radio? Need to convert to component video output. Anyone have a part number?

No part number but you should be able to if you have some tech background. If you can figure out which wires are for what you should be good. Usually just need 4 wires, power and ground for it turn on and signal +/- to splice on a RCA end and run it to the radio.

You could easily do it. You'll need one of these https://www.ebay.com/itm/13-17-Dodg...TE-WIRING-HARNESS-OEM-NEW-MOPAR-/201222848129 along with the camera from a 13+ and possibly the tailgate handle to mount the camera. Pin1 Ground to Chassis Ground, Pin3 to 12V+, Pin 4 to outer RCA, Pin 6 to inner RCA.
