That looks dirty as fuck, didn't they already"flush" it, I would ask for my money back and do the flush your self buy the correct coolant while your at the dealer.

221 is considered normal ops on a 3.6 is that not the case for the V-8's? What was your normal operational temperature before the "overheating"?

Thanks everyone your advice. Flushed the coolant and switched out the new thermostat. Engine is running cool again.
Now the only thing is my tranny is running much hotter than my other 2013 ram. About 40 degrees more.
I already changed the filters and changed the oil. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What is your before and after normal operational temp? Did you put in a lower degree thermostat? As I said for some engines 220 is normal ops

No I put in a 195 duralast. Engine is running below 212. Like my other one. The tranny would get up to 170 with out trailer. Now it is getting up 195. Probably would go hire if I let it. I don't feel any slips

Sounds like The flush helped assuming the coolant was as dirty as the one you showed us in a picture earlier. With that said perhaps your engine runs a little cooler in general than my 3.6

I bet your tranny cooler is plug. If the coolant was as dirty as it was, when you flushed it it probably caused grime to be released and turned to mud and plugged the cooler.

Try flushing it again with chemicals (flush cleaner) motorcraft makes a good one... If it doesn't fix it I would try replacing the trans cooler.

6 speed correct? Mine never runs above 150, unless it's hot and towing then it gets up to 180-190, once to 205.
