Hi all! I have been repeatedly getting a P0128 code. I have a 180* thermostat and I thought the Superchips 91 tune would take care of the code not appearing. Any way to turn the code off?

Have you changed the thermostat to 180 degrees if so that is what maybe causing your problem. What goes in that engine is 195 degrees .An with the 180 it is making the engine run rich like it is cold all the time. Also that chip you put in will not clear that code you need a scanner to monitor the engine .

Yes, I put a 180* in there, and thought the Superchips tune would cause the ECM to accept the 180* without throwing the code. It comes up every couple of weeks and I clear it with a scanner, but I'd like it gone for good...

Sounds like that maybe your problem.Heck i would go back with a stock thermostat .I have a question do you know if that chip is designed to make the computer run with cooler thermostat if it doesn't say it will effect it then it might be your temp sensor.
