Photoshop tips and tricks

I just downloaded photoshop and I've figured out how to change the car color and exposure and all that good stuff. Only thing I can't figure out is how to change the wheel and headlight color, how do I do that? If it's any help, I have ps cs5 extended

Ok guys I'm trying to lower my truck in ps but cant figure out layers to do it. How do I do the layers so that I can lower it?

Depends on how you want to lower it. The way I do it is that I use the lasso tool and go around the lower half of the image then copy and paste it to make a new layer and lower from there. I'll see if I can take some screen shots for you.

Here is a rough selection job. Of course I do some other adjustments to make it look good. But for a generic idea.
