My 2014 has OEM projectors and I find them decent on low beam and on high beam are actually pretty good, but I have seen some of the standard headlights on the RAMs and I agree they are definitely below par.
My truck has the standard halogen lights... if im on the road with this truck after a fresh rain, it's as if there are no headlights. For a 2014, that's just shocking. Actually dangerous.
Any headlights will degrade drastically on a wet road. The water on the road makes it more of a smooth flat surface causing the light to reflect at a similar angle away from you.
None of my trucks or cars produced this millennium are as bad as this RAM. And, on the markers, my headlights are aligned and level... in reality, they shine in peoples faces. I have them down a bit for other peoples safety as well and they STILL cant light the road.
Simply a poor housing design on the RAM.
It's humorous when people ***** about their headlights. Want bad? Drive a 2nd gen Dodge especially without sport lights. I feel like my Ram has pretty good lights for halogens.
You're really going to complain about a 1994-2002 dodge? Crappy headlights are the least of your concern. I cant help it if youre used to working with less, but apparently I'm not alone in thinking these headlights are ********.
You said worst of any truck of this millennium, and I'm telling you that's an exaggeration compared to what I've driven. There's definitely better, but it wasn't long ago that they were so so much worse.
