another use for plasti-dip. My aluminum tonneau was in pretty rough shape after 3 years of wintery abuse. Usually I just armor all it to give it some shine. After washing it all up yesterday I decided to freshen it up with a nice coat of plasti-dip...

Honestly it came out great. Looks brand new!
I also peeled the plasti-dip off the lip of my rims to see if I liked it. Not sure how I feel. Still undecided.

I'd leave the rims the way they are. Looks great. Makes me wish I had held out for an '06.

Im gonna order some plasti dip to do my wheels soon.Meanwhile I have been looking at pics online (cause I'm getting addicted to the stuff) and ran across this website for PD'ing.DipYourCar Home - Plasti Dip For Your Car - Resources & More at DipYourCar.com some of you may have already seen it or others. But they have the stuff to make your own colors, sprayers, and they have a glossifier and a couple metalizers.Anyway I thought I would pass it on in case anyone was interested.

Did some more plasti dip today.Did 2 of the wheels.Gonna do the other side tomorrow.I also pd'ed my gas door. What do you guys think,I can't decide if I like that.did my door emblems.I left the red magnum just under the V8 to give it a little different look. Also did these ram head emblems someone gave me.Not sure what they came off.But I am gonna put them to the rear of the back side door above the SLT emblem.

I am gonna PD my wheels tomorrow FINALLY! Cant wait! Got all my stuff together, gonna get up early and clean the whole truck them puttin it up on stands taking all the wheels off and spraying them all at once! I am thinking 2-3 coats but i guess I will see how it goes. I am also planning on doing my grill inserts while the wheels are drying :)

Do you all worry about the backside of the wheels or the inner rim when applying? or do you just leave it dirty back there? I was wondering if it would look funny if i only concentrated on the face of the wheel and the inner part was not solid black...or can you not even notice? I just dont want to spray it back where I will need to weight it now. Any advice before i get goin??
