I'm looking to plasti dip my stock rims for winter. But since I hve a rumble bee I think it would be cool to put like a yellow strip around the wheel is there anyway to do that?

It would be hard to do the 2 colors, as the tape would rip off one of them

wax paper, with some of that sticky stuff from medical supply store, may be sticky enough yet not rip off plastidip, the sticky stuff that helps the bandage tapes stick, its a liquid or on a pad

I'm on board with silver_bullet. I think you should get some yellow pin striping at an auto parts store or online and apply it. East to do. Just hold the tape down with one hand at the starting point and with your other hand pull to stretch the tape and lay it down in the shape you want (in this case circular around the wheel). Use a straight edge razor to cut the finishing end after you lay it down by pushing the blade into the tape. I would do it while you have the wheel off the vehicle.

Detox- I used a can per wheel on mine but that's just so it will be easier to peel off if I ever decide to. The more coats you apply the better it will hold up and will be easier to come off. At least I have found that to be true.

Thanks, I'll have to do a trip across the border to buy some soon. average price here is $17 a can. =/

Woah! That's frosty! Three cans will for sure do it with plenty of coats so maddog is probably closer to reality I just overdid it lol
