Just done mine 2 days ago, look very nice. I also painted my upper bumper with fusion krylon paint.

Well done, sir. I'm convinced you could paint a pig flat black and she's be sexy.

What is that behind the grilles? Lights?

The front bumper is not holding up to well. I might just peel that off. Not sure if it would look stupid leaving the back one black and having the front one chrome. The wheels and grille is holding up well

I'm looking to do this also. Question did you do anything to the chrome besides giving it a good clean before you painted it.

I've got it done on my grill.. Just clean well, dry well and remove the grill for best coverage. I've dipped rims, steps and badges also

Truckless...
It's painted, not plastidipped, and the wrong generation, but you get the idea...

Prepping is more important than the actual paint, but i've seen guys do it with great results!

Yeah its great stuff!
With driving down gravel roads, through mud, etc. The bumpers just simply can't hold it on. It takes chips and stuff. My back bumper took a slab of mud and took a chunk of the dip out

If you get a can of Xylene you can put some on a microfiber towel, rub the edges where the dip is torn until it is liquid and smoothed down. Then respray the dip. It will fix the problem very fast.

I don't think its worth fixing. It'll rip back apart anyhow

Not bad, but after he does that a few time it'll start peeling. Mine was good to the first time I took it out. I'm just debating whether it looked better chrome or black

Everything looks better black... I dislike chrome though, so I'm kinda biased

i dipped my badges, grill, and both bumpers. i hate chrome, and i am going to try the handles too. i hope it all holds up. a black truck with everything else flat black looks great, imho.
