Well, I started out with this, the bone stock system:

I tried out a MOPAR accessory Kicker amp and speakers:

Didn't work out very well. The speakers were OK but the amp sucked...

So, then I changed out the head unit for a MOPAR REC/NAV head unit:

I kept the head unit but was still not happy with the amp. And the speakers weren't all that great either. I surprised someone less fortunate than I with a gift of the old head unit, the amp & the speakers after I acquired and installed:

Amps: Image Dynamics q700.2 x2 w/ Ixos 5 Farad capacitor mounted behind rear seats.
Speakers: HAT L6v1 mids w/ HAT Clarus tweeters, no rear fill.
Sub Hertz Hx300 in a custom downward firing center console box.
Still need to deaden front doors.

Absolutely pounds but retains clarity.

Alpine Type-S SPS-400 - Dash (powered off hu)
Alpine SPR-69C - all doors
Alpine SWR 1243D 12' Sub (custom fiberglass box under back passenger seat)
Alpine PDX-5 (powers all speakers and sub except for dash)

This system is exactly what I want. I built it in steps, first changed the speakers, then added hu, then amp, then sub. I get great balance, very clean and tight, and plenty of bass.

next is to install my backup camera.

ok so i used 3/4 MDF and have a 1" port with a jl audio wx-4 Rms only 200W but it pounds!!

Stinger power wire and RCAs. Stinger Roadkill on all four doors. Also have a 500watt power inverter to power misc. things while camping.

Whats up yall? New to the circus here. Just want to make my first post.

Im running 4 Rockford Fosgate 4way 6x9s in the doors. 3.5 Rockfords in the dash. No amp or subs yet... but this baby pounds none the less. I also have an Alpine HU i havent installed... still wondering... i want double din maybe....
