Has anybody tried the Z36 kit from powerstop? Supposed to be pretty good and minimal brake dust.

Good advice right there. I went EBC. Love the stopping power. But DAYUM they are dusty MF'rs. I need to ceramic coat my wheels now just to deal with cleaning.
Which pads are you running? Was looking at their stage 5 kit with the yellow stuff pads.

Green Stuff. Stop on a dime, but wee bit dusty.

What made you choose the green? Just curious, don't know much about Ebc except the have red and yellow also. Thanks.

I trust Matt at Moesperformance. He had green in stock and it seemed to be the right choice, good pricing too.

I actually flirted with going balls out Brembo...

I just installed the z36 pad and rotor kit this weekend. Haven’t had them on long enough to give a review but they look nice and weren’t too bad to install.

My only complaint was that they only gave me one packet of grease, so id pick up an extra packet.
Where did you get your kit from? And if you don’t mind how much did you pick them up for?

Last week I had new Powerstop Z23 cross drilled, slotted rotors installed with ceramic pads. I followed the bedding procedure as described in the paperwork. So far I have put on about 200 miles with non-aggressive braking. Today with normal driving it a slight burning smell. Is this normal?
Smells for about a week. I use them on my Ram and Charger.

Haven't tried the EBC's, but I'm totally sold on the DRT (Design Rotor Technology) rotors. They're cryogenically treated. I put a set of slotted on my Jeep 7 years and 40k miles ago. They've also seen close to 400 panic stops from around 130 mph at the track. Figured I'd need to replace them with the new build, but they're still perfect. Good thing as you can't turn them. I see they have rotors for the Rams, so when I need some, I'm gonna give Woody a call. Also replaced the factory Brembos with 6 piston Wilwoods and their HP pads on front. No more dust like the Brembos produced, and if you hit 'em hard, it feels like the chin is gonna touch the pavement. Almost stops on the proverbial dime. ;) On back I've still got the stock Brembos, and run Hawk HP pads. No dust there either.

It pays to buy a can or tube of brake grease. I like to clean then grease the slider pins and the back of the pads lightly. Last thing you want is a caliper to freeze due to dirty or dry slider pins and then burn up new pads and warp new rotors. Its quick and easy to pull them then to clean and grease them.

I swapped out my brakes at 60k mainly because I wanted to. Did the powerstop calipers roters and pads. The Calipers are exactly the same as stock but powdercoated. Kinda cheap job on powdercoat cause seemed to chip easy. overall happy they look good. Have stock rotors and calipers if anyone is looking
