Was looking at LED headlight and fog light upgrade for my 2016 Longhorn with projectors. Looks like Putco has a product. Any experiences with these would be helpful.

Thanks!

I actually run the putco nightlux LED lights in my low beams, hid’s in The high and fogs. I like them, but with a tinted windshield they don’t put out enough for me. Since I paid nearly $200 for the set, I kept them and went with the hid highs and fogs.

LEDs and projectors for lows just don’t work, if you want the color and intensity then get HID

My wifes 2016 Explorer has factory LED headlights and they suck next to the HID's I have in my Laramie. They're bright AF looking at them coming up the drive but not too impressive from behind the wheel. I have a Xenon Depot 5000K kit in my Laramie projectors.

I second this. It doesn’t matter what LED you put in these projectors, they will always have terrible throw down the road. They look bright to the naked eye but when you get onto the road you’ll see what I mean.

As others have said, HID is the way to go for projector housings. It's a bit more complicated for installation, but should get well worth it in the long run.
