I'm looking to lift the front of my 2014 Ram 1500 4x4 laramie ecodiesel 1.5".

I found these lift blocks on e-bay from summit racing for $35.99 >> Dodge RAM 1500 1 5" 1 1 2" Leveling Lift Kit 4WD 2006 2014 DR1 5T | eBay

They look good, but are suspiciously cheap, is there anything to look out for in lift blocks? I notice the name brand units are around $200+ for just the front.

I am open to suggestions, however I would like to stick to only 1.5" of lift for the front, I tow a lot and don't want to lift the front so much that the truck will look like it's popping a wheelie.

I couldn't tell from your post but how much were they? And I leveled my 06 2500 at les shwabbs and it was a couple hundred. Don't know the official price of the leveling kit alone because I did four shocks a leveling kit and 35 in toyos all at once. But I would say a leveling kit is a leveling kit since they are not shocks and they are all generally made to the same specs I think you could go with anything really. I'd take it to a shop it's cheap enough to just have someone else deal with the headache of an install. I think my dad paid like 400 at a shop all said an done.

I have the 2" version of the Summit blocks and they work great. Easy install, excellent machine work and they fit exactly as they should.

I'd suggest going with the adjustable Bilstien shocks. Do a little research here. Apparantly, Dodge redesigned the ball joints on the 2013 and there have been numerous reports of the upper ball joints popping loose after installing leveling spacers on the 2013 and newer Ram 1500 4x4's.

Thanks for the tip Wandell, I looked into the Bilstiens and those definitely seem like the better way to go from a reliability standpoint, I'm going to go that direction.
