Question on replacing the cabin air filter - Stuck door

I have a 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Crew cab. Purchased a new cabin filter on line and went to change it today, pushed the tabs that holds the door out of the way and the filter door seems to be stuck on there. Any ideas. This is the first time the filter is being changed. Tried to pry it a little bit and not moving at all.

Hate to seem stupid on this any ideas.

You might not actually have a door, most didn’t. 2016 it’s probably a 50/50 chance depends on your trim level. If not you can buy the door for about $8 on Amazon and cut out the outline for it.

That's what I had to do on the 2016 Laramie we used to own.
