Random plug under dash.

I was driving this morning when I felt a random plug hit my foot. I looked once I got home and saw this white plug hanging there. I then noticed a grey female plug that is connected with my brake and throttle pedals. Could anyone enlighten me on what this plug is? Thanks.

I thought that too. I have a trailer brake in my truck and it works just fine. So I'm not sure

Dang trucks have a gazillion plugs not being used. Unless you’re fancy and get all the options. Maybe for power pedals? Who knows

Nope, footwell light plug is a small 2 wire plug that's up near the ODBC connector.

I might have been mistaken when I ruled out the trailer brake idea. My gain works just fine when towing, however the brake lever below it on my console does nothing. Maybe it is a trailer brake? It does not fit into the grey female I also showed.

My 2018 2500 BH has the same plug, tied off and wrapped in foam above the accelerator pedal. I have the oem trailer brake controller, so my guess is it’s for the adjustable pedals, I don’t have that option.
