Random Spring

Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong category but I was looking under my truck earlier and noticed a random spring hanging from the frame. It is located at the front of my truck on the driver side. Anyone know what this is and what it should be connected to?

Could be something a previous owner (if you didn't buy it new) hung there to hold something up. Don't think that's an OEM supporting lol

Is it an extension spring like this? Hard to tell from the pic, maybe hung on the frame?

Yea that's exactly what it is. Sorry about the poor quality. I just saw that hanging under my truck on the frame

Toss it or save it for later... probably used previously to hang brake caliper on while doing work in that area and forgot to take it off.

That's exactly what I thought with where it's located. That's exactly where I hang mine when doing front end work....

I have one of those in my "pile of random truck bolts" for a few years an had no clue where it came from
