Hey guys I recently rebuilt my front and rear diff. I started hearing some gear hum during my high speed break in runs (around 65 it starts to humm). I installed 4.10 gears and heard that a little noise is OK… not sure if that’s true or not. With that I am past the short runs and are onto the normal driving portion. My commute to work is about 45 minutes so I loaded up and went. Under normal driving at 60 to 65, when I got to work the temp was 180 at the front pinion bearing and about 200 at the rear bearing. The cover was at about 180 to 190. Not sure if this is normal during the first 500 miles. Thanks for the help guys!
