What is the best way to raise the rear end of my '08 1500 4x4? Im looking for about 1" of lift to go along with a 2-2.5" leveling kit im putting in the front.

either, you can put a level kit on, runs about 50 bucks. or you can just get a lift kit.

I am in the same boat as you with my 05. I think it would be a set of 1 inch blocks but the best I've found is around 135 from RC.

Yes. I had the axle out of my wife's Durango and back in in just over an hour. Jack stands, jack, and an air gun helps.

should I worry about the Pinion angle or the possibility of axle wrap?

Those blocks I found on eBay were tapered soni don't think the angle will change by much if any at all.

Where do the blocks actually sit? And would I have to remove the bed of my truck to install them?

No on the bed. They go between the axle and leaf spring

Just jack the truck up and support the frame in the rear with 2 jack stands. Take the rear tires off. Then put the jack under the rear diff and raise it an inch or so. Then un bolt the u-bolts on the leaf spring and put the block between the spring and the axle and bolt it back together with the new bolts. Just do one side at a time.
