I just gotta ask this question although it's probably not any issue with my back window....or maybe there is. What catches my attention whenever I open my rear window I keep watch as it opens and notice once it gets within bout 4" of being fully open it slows dramatically. That may be normal, that I don't know so I thought I'd get feedback from others. I've even studied maybe feeding a little lube down to the track once it's open just as a preventive for any moisture that works in the opennings if caught in the rain...or maybe ....if left open at nite....just to see it rained the nite before. Curious what you guys think.

Sounds like debris in the track or the seal is pinched in a little bit during assembly, no issues on my 16

Doesn't slow down on my 2014 either. As others said, start with the basics... does the track look like its slightly pinched at the end? Does it look a little dirty? Try some lubricant spray designed for weather stripping, see if that helps. My passenger side window chattered going down half the time until I used that stuff. Cleared it right up.

That's a good idea, do you have a link or remember what you used?

Mine did the same thing In my '17. I sprayed some PB blaster dry lube spray. Worked great

Mine slows down about 4 inches out too. I’ll be looking into the lube soon.
