Replacing a 6.5 bed to a 8foot bed

Just a thought brewing in my crazy head. Has any one heard of or done changed their bed from a 6.5 foot bed to a 8 foot bed? I know it's a crazy idea but I just been wondering if there's a way to attach the larger bed. Or if there's too much bed hanging after the rear axle? What's everyone's opinion or advice

You would have to lengthen the frame and extend the wheelbase to do that.

That's what I thought had to be done.. a little more work than I thought. So I'll stick with the 6.5 foot bed

Really its not that hard to do. labor wise...but it will cost you a little bit. you will have to just buy a another truck with a log bed...its that simple.....
