I have a 2017 Ram sport night edition. The seats are heated but I don't know if is causing my problem. when I first get in, the drivers seat bottom is tight. After seating in it while driving, when I get out, the seat bottom seems to be separating as the seat bottom is puckering up. It seams the longer I set in it, the worse it is. After I'm out of the truck a couple of hours, it seems to be OK but the same thing happens again when the seat is set in. My wife rides with me, we're not heavy and weigh about the same thing, and her seat does not do this. Has anyone had this problem and if so, how did you take care of it. The dealer said that Ram wanted to remove the seat and see id the bottom was separating.

Sound like the pad under the cover is failing.

Similar problem I'm having. I drive less than 7K annually and I have 2 small cracks in my leather seat. I only use it as my daily driver and to occasionally carry something large. I've never had this kind of issue in any of my vehicles. Shouldn't happen.

I don't have any cracks. My problem is it seems the bottom of the drivers seat is separating. When you've been sitting that when you get up, the bottom of the seat cover is ballooning. You can actually push it down when you get out.

Sounds to me like the hog rings that attach the seat to the foam are not correctly placed, or the plastic clip is not attached properly. Have you looked under the the back side of the front seat from the rear at where it clips onto the seat frame?
