seems like something is slipping?

I have an 03 1500 hemi and when im going up a hill and give it gas it doesn't go any faster but if I give it a little more gas it will finally grab and slowly start gaining speed. the rpms don't jump like its going into passing mode or what ever you can just feel something grab and it goes

If its the 545-RFE transmission then you might be feeling the down shift into 2nd "prime".

My guess is the converter is unlocking, depending on the driving conditions this may be normal. Do you have any DTC's? If the trans is slipping you will have DTC's..

maybe it is normal and I just haven't noticed it before cause there are no dtc's. thanks though

that's what I was thinking of when I said "jump rpms" but no its before that I can feel it catch around 2500 rpms
