So i replace the plugs this past weekend and the plug on the number 5 was stripped out. In order to get a clear line of attack, I removed the brake booster and retapped the plug on the Number 5. After getting it all back together, this service light popped on. Since this light has came on, i have lost traction control and cruise control. Are these two items suppose to disengauge if that service light comes on?
Cruise control does turn on, I just can't set it. My 4wd auto and high work fine.
Does anyone know how to trouble shoot this or if a code reader will tell me what is wrong with it? I have seen some posts where they said it was their transfer case control module sensor causing the issue. Truck is out of warranty so I can't take it to the dealer without paying. Appreciate any help. Thanks
