Should I switch to synthetic?

I try; although I did pass a group of 5 cars going 100MPH+ this morning :D

Yea, I think I will try some synthetic M1 oil next time I change oil.

You have a very good group of off the shelf synthetic oils that will do a great job in your truck. Pennzoil Ultra Platinum and a Fram Ultra filter and you have a great combo.

Don't over think it. Drive it like you stole it. I'm very jealous!!!

How you guys feel about Royal Purple?

Not necessarily a bad synthetic, but from what I've read, over-hyped. At one time they claimed it actually gave you a HP increase, and I believe there was class-action suit or some sort of campaign that made them stop the claims. Studies proved they were completely bogus.

For the price tag you typically pay, not worth it, in my opinion. Mobile 1 or Pennzoil Platinum/Ultra are just as good, if not better, and usually cheaper.
