Special tool for transfer case drain plug in 3rd Gen 1/2 ton?

First time doing the drain/refill on my 2004 Ram 1500 transfer case. The fill and drain plugs are both recessed and take a hex key tip (I think 3/8 inch maybe)??? The drain plug is so close to the exhaust piping though that there is only a little over 1 inch of clearance, not enough room to get any of the hex sockets in there, and maybe not even a normal hex key. Is there a special tool I'm missing to do this given the limited clearance? Would definitely appreciate any guidance. It shouldn't be this hard!

Take the allen out of the socket and use a box wrench on it.

I used the wrench on the Allen socket. Worked easy and quick. Plus you save some bucks on a tool you won’t be using a lot
