So I tore apart my dash the other day to try to replace one of the lights on my gauges. I unplugged the cluster and it all goes limp of course. I plug it back in and the speedometer pointed directly down and the fuel gauge went past E in the wrong direction. They both still work but obviously not showing correct. How do I fix this?

was the battery disconnected when you began the job ?
nevermind,
disconnect the Negative Post from the battery & reconnect it after a couple hours, hopefully something will reset itself

Nope to both inquiries above… didn’t think anything of it honestly. I just figured the speed sensors would reset it

If I remember correctly, you can try to do a reset on the cluster. Press and hold the odometer reset button and turn the key on, in a few seconds it will start to go thru a self-test. Release the button and let it do its thing.

So I tried the reset. It did the whole scan thing and thought it almost worked but sadly fuel gave and speedometer is off just the same
