I am currently in the process of searching for the best spindle lift to lift my truck. I have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 2wd. I put 1 1/2 inch coil spacers to level the truck out about 3 years ago. The truck isn't dimensionally level yet, it stills needs to go up 1 inch in the front. Since then, the truck rides really rough and is causing some problems with my ball joints.
With that being said, my plan is to take the coil spacers off and put a 4 inch spindle lift on the front. This will allow the truck to sit more aggressively and I have heard that the spindle lift keeps the stock geometry so the suspension won't ride as rough.
What is the best brand of spindle? I have looked at Maxtrac and CST, but what makes the ebay brand spindles different from those? Do I need anything else, other than the spindle, for installation?
