Hello:
I am looking at putting new hoses in my truck, in particular the rad hose.I have done some reading but i'm not quite finding out the information that I really need. I know the hose in the 2010 is 47.18" long with one end being 1 1/2" and the other being 1 3/4" , but what I'm not really sure of is how the steel hose hooks up. It has adapters on the ends, which come in different sizes but I haven't stumbled across any videos showing exactly how to hook them up.
If anyone has them in their truck any help would be appreciated as well as photos and reviews of the hoses.
This is what I'm thinking to replace my hose but I am open to suggestions.

Hipps, those are nice. I've been looking at the silicone hose as well but think the stainless are the way to go for me. I can get them in blue which will go with the rest of the under hood mods.
What are the things with the circles on your firewall, are they lights??

Dude, put the hood down quick. Some of the blue jumped out and got on the car next to you LOL.

Yes the hoses come in blue as well... I also would like to add braided stainless-red or black ends to the smaller hoses in the bay. The circles in the back are not lights, they are filters that cover and filter all the air that comes into cab. I bought from Genos garage along with the cabin filter mod! The air coming inside is very clean and cabin is less dusty as well as less allergens. Had them on since truck was new and highly recommend as these trucks had zero filtration. I change the carbon filter out once per year. This also helps keep the cabin blower filter cleaner and I change that once every other year.

I bought a pack of stainless braided hose covers for my truck and started with the rad hose, what a pain in the ass, I only got half way done the hose and the braid was jamming up and pulling away from the other end. I may have done something wrong as it was suppose to fit but this is why I am looking at another option.

you can buy the heater hoses already braided from CARID

https://www.carid.com/spectre/spectre-performance-heater-hose-118570241.html?parentsubmodel[]=ENGINE|5.7L

And I know i've seen the billet end for the hoses for sale somewhere, would be worth your while.

^^^ I have heard that complaint from someone else that tried a similar kit. If you find a vendor that would be willing to pre-make the upper and lower rad hoses for the truck, please let me know---I'm looking also.

Most definitely but it is unlikely due to the 2 different sized ends.
