I have a 2015 2500 6.4l 4x4 has 19,000 on the OD, every once in a while the headlight will flicker, its noticeable and ANNOYING. have taken it into the local dealer here in carson city and they don't have a clue... More of an annoyance than a problem. anyone else experience this?

By flicker, do you mean on and off or from bright to dim? Also, did you buy the truck new?

I am glad you posted this. I have noticed it on mine, but it's so quick I always wonder if it's for real or I am seeing things:crazy:

Do you notice it when you are inside driving or out of the vehicle looking at the headlight?
Do you have fog lights? My fog lights kind of look like they flicker when going over bumps and since you said you only see it with low beams, that's when fogs are on. Just a thought.

I found a guy on YouTube, Motor City Mechanic. He explains in detail the whole headlight issues. What he showed on the headlight video is why I have a new wire harness ordered. Check him out.

If its stock on a 15, its Chrysler's problem. Go see your stealership.

my old jeep cherokee has always done it, too. I just assumed it was the charging system regulator switching on and off.

Mine is a little more than I thought. It goes to the dealer next week let them struggle with it.

When I bought my truck I bought an extended warranty that covers the underwood wiring.

I'm willing to put my bet on pulse width modulation with the CAN-BUS system. I forget the full technical explanation of PWM but the basic gist has to do with how the CAN-BUS system manages the electrical current in our vehicles. I never knew anything about any of this until I upgraded the factory halogens to sealed beam LED's on my Jeep and started noticing a flicker in the beam as it reflected off the back of the vehicle in front of me. With that said I can't say I've noticed a flicker on our Ram especially considering I upgraded to HID's.

I have a 2015 Sport with a little over 4K miles and I have noticed mine doing the same thing. Glad I saw this thread because I also wasn't sure if it was me or the lights. Haven't paid attention if it's high beams or low beams, but I will pay more attention now that I know there is an issue.

Ok so I took my truck to the dealership for my headlight issue. Less than an hour later & $80.00. We are fixed and bit are working every time.

that's great that it's fixed, but you're very vague on what the fix was. Apparently there are others with similar problems, who would love to know what the exact solution was.

There was a ground wire that had come loose in the connector. That's what I was told. I wasn't there an hour. All said & done my lights work I am happy.

I'm glad I saw this thread, my '15 Ram has been doing the same thing since I bought it. It's annoying as hell, plus I want to upgrade to LEDs but I figured the flicker would be exaggerated because of how fast LEDs light up and shut off.
