I bought my 2017 Ram 1500 used with 2,000 miles on it. Truck now has 2350 miles. The stock low beams are incredibly weak (I have the quad halogens). I live in the city and when I'm driving on the streets here I can't even tell if my lights are on. We had a bad rain storm here, lights are on, could barely see anything. I thought I'd turn on the fog lights to help, nothing. Fog lights won't turn on. I'm taking the truck to the dealer to fix the fogs but these stock headlights have to go. I'm thinking of getting the LED low beam kit from Vanquish Auto. Seems like there are a lot of people here that use them with great success.

Do you have a spending limit?

Great choice...... I have a set of vanquish HIDs and LED fogs on my Yukon and they are really bright. Since you have the quad headlights you should be good with LED bulbs for your lows highs and fogs. Vanquish also has a great warranty.

When i first got my 2017 Ram, the first thing I did to it was upgrade the headlights. The stock Halogens sucked. I couldn't tell they were even on at night when driving on city streets. Locally where i am we have DDM Tuning. I went into there and got their Saber LED pro series 50w ultra high performance with anti flicker modules. I only got the low beams and its night and day difference. worth a check i think i spent around $120 or so for them

Do it!!! I bought vanquish lows n fogs for my 17, what a difference! City/urban here also...night n day difference.
Lots of choices out there but I wanted a company to buy from that
1..a member here
2..customer service if issues
3..quick response(pm) for any questions
Simple plug n play, im using bulbs only (no cancellors) for 3-4 months now with no issues at all

So vanquish I never owned so I can’t judge them. I used to have GTR GEN 3s and they were amazing. Don’t ever get opt 7. If some day up really want to improve your lights do a retrofit or pick up the Morimoto XB headlights that a 5x brighter than the quad halogens

Switch your low beams from H11 to H9 bulbs, you’ll practically double your lumens for less than $20

I too have a very positive experience with Vanquish. My 2018 RAM 1500 BigHorn came with the Quads and I hated the lights. I bought LEDs for the lows last May from Vanquish, and didnt have a chance to install them till a couple of weeks ago. I called Vanquish before installation as I had a question regarding the cancellers. They told me they have a newer, much improved Philips LED bulb set that doesn't need cancellers and they offer to take the old ones back and expedite the shipment of the new ones at no cost. I was amazed with the service and I was very appreciative so I insisted for paying the expedited shipping fees.

The LEDs work fine, no errors and are better than the stock bulbs for brightness. They also emit a nice light color, not too blue and not too white and even though they are the best you can get, I'm still not fully satisfied with the upgraded Quad/LED lighting. So I plan on converting the Quads to HID projectors once budget permits.

I bought eBay cheapos for something like $27..first set lasted half year. Second set still going.

Bright as hell, but our housings suck.

Are you guys changing the light housings as well or using factory housings with led or hid bulbs? I am interested in doing this too but I think I have the stock cheapo housings

Do most of the H9 fit properly in the OEM quad housings.
I’ve heard most have to be trimmed to actually even fit.
I personally don’t want this.

There is slight trimming to do, it’s really simple. One metal tab and a plastic rib the the plug. I’ve done it on my last two trucks and I’m getting ready to do my 2018. People do this swap on other vehicles as well. The difference is substantial, 55w to 65w and almost twice the lumens with very little work and small expense. YouTube has videos that show what needs to be done.
