I have a 2" hells steel level and new mevotech UCA's going in when it gets to be a nicer warmer day. My ? Is, I need tire size info.

I have no problem keeping the stock rims, but would rather not run a spacer. If the price is reasonable, I would also consider new rims at 17" if it keeps tire price down.

Stock tire is around 33". The 34"-35" range would fit the wheel wells nicely.
I do lots of ice fishing, and a taller tire is what I want. Not looking to go extreme width. Close to stock width is great. A good A/T tire. No mudders.

I know this has been asked a bunch, but my head is spinning with all the info out there. Any suggestions?

So, I'm assuming you have 20's. So, you could go 285 65 20 without spacers and you'll have 34 in tires. 35's you will need spacers.

If you make a swap to 17s you could run 285/75/17 which is about 34 inches. I think there are a few tires available in that size, one being Nitto Terra Grapps.

I am about to get some new skins, and plan to try 255/80/17s to get E rated tires that have decent tread, and height (33") without killing fuel economy/power.

On my 11 qc I bought 17 inch rims and 35 cooper stts for just under 1500$. After market offset will let you run wider tires. When I was pricing tires for my stock rims 285 was only in bfg at and a 295 would have a little rubbing at full lock. Prices were around 1300 for tires for teh stock rims.

In Texas I can't say much for ice/snow performance but I used to be a die hard believer in mts. I got a set of nitto terra in 10 ply and wow. They are comfortable and get as good of traction as any of my cheapo mud tires did. I would recommend those. And 70k per tire ain't bad either

I did some calling today. I can get 275/65/20 nitto g2 installed for 1106. Looks to be a 34" with stock width. Wouldn't think spacers are needed due to it being the same width, just an inch taller.
