Love my 15 Express. It has a 5.7 and a 6 speed with column shift.
Every once in a while when I start it up and shift into reverse to back out of the driveway then put it in drive I notice that I am 4th gear. I can't change it with the +/- and it will not upshift or downshift on it's own. Sometimes the check engine light is on as well.
If I shut the truck off and restart, all is well, it's in drive again. If the check engine light happened to come on, it takes a couple of restarts, or a period of time I guess, then that goes away. So nothing major.
It's only happened about 4 times. I'm thinking I am hitting the +/- at the same time as I am putting it into reverse and not moving yet.
Anyone have this happen?
