Sub enclosure idea for you guys

figured id share what i did with my center console and some old sound system parts i had laying around, feel free to comment and question anything you see

Is the seat hollow?

i cut the foam to fit the box i made for it, so yes its mostly hollow, Ive never used the seat and since i have a 2 year old i didn't want to go over the top with a box. I didn't know they had a setup like this on eBay but for lest that $40 invested, i thought id share lol

Nice. It's pretty hard on your sub's surround and coil to be hitting the armrest all the time.

But I like how blatantly simplistic it is.

I put a down firing ported box with a 10 inch sub in mine. I used the seat brackets to mount it. Its the same height as the folded console. It hits hard

I oddly like that setup man. Hows the bass though? I've got two ten behind the seat in my truck. Homemade boxes but they hit pretty good

I had my sub there as well, just down facing. These pics don't show the foam cut to fit over the box.




Used the seat frame to mount the box.
