I've spent the last couple days cleaning up downed trees and checking for wash outs on the dirt roads around our property from the bad storms we've had for the past week and stopped for some pictures

I need to re-edit this one since I over saturated it

Wait, what's rain? We haven't seen that for 2 months down here, and it has been in the 100-106* range everyday.

I love the scenery up there...looks like you have a beautiful piece of property.

Damn, does that mean it'll be too dry for fireworks?

I want some rain quick before the 4th, so they wont initiate a firework/burn ban again. Last year we didn't get rain for like 2 months and it was ridiculously dry.

Cody it looks like you're getting hit with all the stuff we've been getting too. I swear this year's weather is terrible. The snow melted in April and it hasn't stopped raining since! We just got another couple inches today and the water has no where to go. Those are great pics though. Hey I'll be down in your area in 2 weekends!

It really hasn't seemed like we've had a good rain in awhile honestly
It didn't seem like it was going to stop snowing though

This past week in a half it's been high 80's-low 90's with very high humidity and then we just got nailed by these storms coming in from the west the past few days off and on so I was only rained out of work one day this week but got to clean up storm damage every night

At least our corn is already knee high the week before 4th of July!

Hard to really compare but these pictures are taken in the same spot, I think it's the highest I've seen the water

Let me know when and if you have any free time!

We got hit pretty hard again this evening
I was at the truck pulls at the Butler county fair and they called them
I already saw a tree down by our one pasture which means more cleaning up tomorrow!

We just had a wicked downpour for about an hour. Significant flooding everywhere!!! I finally got to legitimately use Off-road 2!!! Cars were flooded all over the road and the emergency crews were pushing them out of the way. I decided to go for it and these women were in the middle of the road yelling at me to go back as everyone was stuck. I told them I'll be fine and they looked at me like I was insane. Then, as I got closer and saw three cars stuck in the middle of the road and one that had floated into the ditch, a fireman was walking back and motioned to me to go back. I said I'd be fine...he looked at me, nodded and said "Whatever" and off I went. I would have to guess the water depth at least 2 feet deep, probably a bit more at the deepest section. The truck just meandered through it like it was nothing! It was AMAZING! If I didn't have the truck, I would probably still be stuck in traffic somewhere looking for a safe route home. As far as I'm concerned, the air suspension just paid for itself :)
