Summertime cruise- Summertime it works, summertime it don't

Recently my '14 2500 Longhorn cruise control started to work intermittently. Get on the road and it may or may not turn on. Nothing has been done to the truck lately. Any suggestions? Thanks

They're known for The cruise control button not working at times, my 15 sport does this. When it happens I Just smack the steering wheel right above the buttons a few times then hit the cruise again it always works after that.

I had intermittent issues with mine got mad and pressed the button like I was trying to break it and it has worked ever since. I did however open a case with ram so it is documented for future failure.

Same here. My old '14 Sport had this issue. I had to press the button extremely hard to get it to work. After that, it got easier.
