Plenty of SC3815 are sold for $140 shipped. Just keep a eye on the classifieds. DT has them often enough.

$120 is a steal. Like said, just make sure it is not vin locked before you buy. That is the risk you take when buying a used and discontinued part.

pay as little as possible because once u tune the truck the thing sits in a closet somewhere collecting dust.

this might sound stupid...how do i do that?? he said it was unlocked.....

any important questions i need to ask before i arrange to see it?? what else do i need to know about it??

You could have him take a pic of it so you can see it say its unlocked. If your doing the transaction face to face you can plug it into the truck an see.

It should try to upload and give you tuning options. If you plug it up and it boots up and is locked I believe it will read Vin Locked.

yep got it last night. brought it home and flashed it to my truck...took it for a drive did noticed a little difference. just haven't driven it a lot yet...

When I put a sc to my truck I noticed it first time I was leaving the parking lot lol

i was running the 91 tune and noticed immediatly it shifted crisper and threw me back in the seat a little more. nothing **** my pants worthy, but enuff to notice. i switched to 93 and it dosent feel any diffirent so im going to go back to 91 since sunoco sells 91 and i have there credit card. as for mpg this past weekend the truck got up to 15.5!!! not bad with 35s and lifted. but the superchip tire recalibrate doesnt seem to work. i put it on 35s and the speedo is still 5 mph off. so i dont think the mpg on the overhead are right. i then switched the tire calibration to 34s and it did get closer to the right speed. i mesured from bottom to top of tire when compressed and a 35 is bout a 34. i just dont like the fact the trucks adds miles quicker on the odometer...

do u guys use the overdrive off when ur not on highway? it seems to get up and go better with od off.
