Good afternoon all!

I have a Superchips 3842 I've used on my 2007 1500... I am selling and upgrading to a 4th gen. Does anyone know if 31.50 is the stock tire size that is preprogrammed? I returned the truck to stock, and everything shows "stock", but the tire size... It reads 31.50... But that might be the stock setting???

By the way, when I first plugged it in, it did show the "Programmer is linked to vehicle" screen, but after returning it to stock, it now goes directly to the "Main Menu" screen, so it appears to be unlocked, right?

And just for my own curiosity, does anyone know if the 3842 programmer can be reprogrammed (for a fee of course) to work with the 4th gen trucks?

Assuming you have a non-MegaCab 1500 stock tire size that year with 20's is 275/60R20, which is a 33" diameter tire. With 17's it's 265/70R17, which is a 31.6" diameter tire and what sounds like you have (or at least your truck was built with). So long as it's completely unmarried, you're good.
As for the programmer, that one is supposed to be good for Rams through 2013.
