swap flowmaster muffler with glasspack?

Hey guys i have an 06 ram 1500 i put a flowmaster american thunder on the truck and i took off all the resonators. Still not liud enought for me. So i was thinking about swapping out the flowmaster muffler for a cherry bomb glasspack. I had one on my 2001 ram and loved the sound. Now with a glasspack and no resonators will this cause and problems for the truck gas milage, power/performance, back pressure?

I haven't hear anyone doing this on their hemi, but I did this many years ago on my 88' chevy truck and it sounded great to me. Cut the muffler off and just run the cat. I ran the exhaust out the back. Has anyone else done this? OBTW, it's emission legal unless you are breaking noise laws. lol

Lol you dont hang out much in the 4g section do you? Muffler and reso deletes are all the rage these days, thanks in part to a company that sells prefabbed bolt on muffler deletes

Yes it's a single chamber muffler, the body is only like 8 inches long

My brother had a 2001 mustang GT and it had the 10s on it it sounded good and mean as heck

When I got my truck it had a 10. I switched it to a 50. The 10 was too loud for me, and it had a TON of drone. So if you like loud, 10 is where it is at.

The droning sound if from the mds eh? I hewr that on my truck. Thinkin of disabling the mds just for better sound lol
