05 and 04 ram 1500 5.7 hemi engine swap

if i swap a 2005 dodge ram 1500 hemi 5.7 l engine into a 2004 dodge ram 1505.7 v8 hemi do i need to change the ecm the 04 is in miles and the donor engines truck is in kms so i well also be putting the 05 dash in will the ecm be needed for that

2004 Hemi swap

So I've got a 2004 Ram Laramie 1500 5.7L Hemi AWD. The motor crapped out just under 280k. Im going to try buy a used motor for it. Which year of 5.7L hemi motors will be a direct drop in? I would prefer not to have to get into PCM and wiring harness swaps, but will if i have to.
