Swapped an 02 dash with a 08 dash, due to a cab fire. Used the same 02 wire harness and gauges, I managed to pass smog check.

Swapped an 02 dash with an 08 dash due to a cab fire. Used original 02 wire harness and gauges with the o8 dash. Even passed smog check. However, the AC/Heater assembly box was overlooked in the process(because I never use it). Was focussed on just getting it running. Now, I'm assuming I'd have to get an o8 AC/Htr Assembly Box that matches the dash, if I want AC/Heat. Does anyone have the knowledge of how to go about this? Are AC compressors mounted in the same location on 02 as 08? I realize that I got lucky on the dash. The truck (5.9 engine) runs fantastic and I think it's worth it. I'm an electrical contractor(female) not much of a mechanic. Any advice fellas?? How much trouble is it?

There are several You Tube videos, that cover 3rd Generation Dodge Ram HVAC systems

I can see why you would want to get the heater & A/C working up where you live.
You get some Heavy FOG up there
