I've been in the search of a Dodge Ram for 6months now. Wanted to join a forum prior to the purchase of this beast. I'm having cold feet. And need that push. Lol- so the truck I'm looking at is a 3rd Gen. 02. Quad cab. 5.9. Leather interior. All the bells and whistles inside. Sport package outside. Tow package. 2wd with 182,000 miles. Asking price was $7800. Offered $6000 and he bit. That a good price?

Anything I should look for or listen for while taking a test drive in the morning?

I just bought a 03 1500 5.9 Laramie QC 4x4 with 85,000 with almost all bells and whistles. Needs a little work but interior is mint. Rust on wheel wheels and has dented rear bumper. $6300 after tax and tags.

Is the body and interior in good shape? If so that sounds reasonable, maybe a lil high in price.

Every area is different, but as long as there is no mechanical issues or bad body issues, you should be in the ballpark there.
