So I was sitting in the turning lane when a fellow RAM owner drove past me in the opposite direction and our drivers side mirrors collided breaking my lower small towing mirror and the plastic housing around the puddle mirror. Anybody got the part numbers to replace the small mirror and the puddle light plastic cover?

I think the puddle light is fine. Seems to function perfectly and aside from that small corner of plastic breaking off....no big deal. But I do use the small tow mirror a lot. I need to fix that asap

Yes it could have. We tend to forget how big these HD rams are by themselves. Then add those batwing tow mirrors. It was bound to happen. I think I found a replacement mirror on eBay but those turn signal lenses are a bit pricey for what they are

Pretty sure these are what you need - but double check to be sure, search the part # on google

68067731AA - mirror

68302829AA - turn signal

Just paid 87 for a passenger side MOPAR puddle/turn signal for my Ram sport mirror . A little different than your mirrors. Still waiting on the $47.00 MOPAR glass mirror

Yeah. I keep calling it a puddle lamp but it’s actually a Mirror turn signal. Cheapest I found was 50 bucks on ebay

Yeah those "lovetaps" can be a pain sometimes.

Were you towing? Or did you just pull your mirrors up for the pic?

I know a lot of dudes drive around with their mirrors up, especially out here in CO.

I’m one of those drives around with them folded out. Probably won’t anymore. But with a lifted HD and 35’s it not only looks better but the tow mirrors are so much more useful when extended out.

I drive with mine out, and I don't tow. It's all about the split mirror, I prefer the small ones down for better visual

It's nice to have the better view, but they stick out quite a bit when extended. I can barely squeeze into my garage with them oriented normally; with them extended there's no way I can make it through the door so it makes it an easy decision for me.
I did destroy the same mirror glass on my 2014 trying to back out of my garage; fortunately it was only a $50 mistake. I will probably fold them out for plowing this year, but after that, they will get folded back down. Almost everyone around here drives with them extended, and I agree, there is a better field of view with them extended but they look a bit awkward..

At least we ain't driving the Ford, their mirrors are permanently in tow position
