Hello, I replaced the head gaskets in my 02 4.7 and bungeed the chains up to save taking the front apart. After starting the engine it ran rough and showed a code for all cylinders on the right bank. I assumed I’m a tooth off. I pulled the valve covers and timing cover and it does look like the right cam gear is off a tooth. Is it safe to just align the right cam gear, or should I pull the center sprocket and re align it all by the marks? Thanks, Ken

you can just re align the cam gear use channel locks or something to hold the cam I have done tons of these i dont even use the timing marks anymore but its to hard to tell with pictures how far you are off .
